Gunman in Joseon Synopsis

"Gunman in Joseon" is the story of Park Yoon Kang (Lee Joon Ki) who is the son of the last great swordsman of 19th century Joseon dynasty, a time of great upheaval and rapid modernization. Jung Soo In (Nam Sang Mi) is a noblewoman who was raised in a very sheltered life, but through the twists of fate develops into a strong, tough modern woman. After the tragic deaths of Yoon Kang,s father and younger sister, Yoon Kang trades his sword for a Western rifle as he embarks on a revenge mission, but ends up becoming a hero for the people.

Choi Hye Won (Jun Hye Bin) a cold-hearted, unapproachable merchant's daughter, Kim Ho Kyung (Han Joo Wan) leads a lonely existence due to his status as the illegitimate son of the prime minister, Choi Won Shin (Yoo Oh Sung) an ambition-filled assassin with an expressionless face, he is involved in a conspiracy against the king, picking off the latter's allies one by one.
